The Alabama Board for Registered Interior Designers (ABRID) administers the Alabama Interior Design Registration Act of 2010 under Title 34, Section 15C of the Code of Alabama 1975, which establishes a registration process for those interior designers who choose to obtain the credential as a Registered Interior Designer (RID) in the state of Alabama. The Board meets regularly to consider applications for registration, to review disciplinary cases, engage in rulemaking to implement the provisions set forth in its statues and state laws, develop educational events for students, young professionals, registered interior designers and the public, and conduct other general business as necessary. The Alabama Board for Registered Interior Designers licenses and regulates qualified individuals to practice as Register Interior Designers in the State of Alabama.
