The Alabama Aviation Hall of Fame Foundation is dedicated to the preservation of the aviation heritage of the state of Alabama by providing the primary financial support necessary for the Alabama Aviation Hall of Fame to achieve its legislated mandate. The Alabama Aviation Hall of Fame Foundation will solicit financial contributions from various sources including individual and corporate donations and available public funding to provide appropriate honor and recognition to members of the Alabama Aviation Hall of Fame through sponsorship of induction ceremonies, as the caretaker of the Alabama Aviation Hall of Fame exhibit, as a repository of historical aviation documents archived for scholarly research, as an institution devoted to aviation and aerospace education in Alabama, and the creation of an endowment to ensure the perpetuity of the Alabama Aviation Hall of Fame.
